“For the past 10 years, Busoga Volunteers for Community Development has provided access to quality education, life skills training, food, clothing, shelter and medical care for thousands of orphans and vulnerable children in the Busoga sub-region of Uganda. We support children in primary and secondary schools and partner with vocational schools, teacher training colleges and universities to offer advanced learning opportunities for our students.
Busoga Volunteers for Community Development also undertakes a number of community outreach and advocacy programs, including for example the volunteer-supported construction of a library, community resource center, water tanks, solar panels and playgrounds in the Busoga region.”
