“Kericho International School (commonly abbreviated as ‘KIS’) is an 8.4.4 curriculum based primary school offering the very best education to students from baby class to class 8. The school is non-sectarian and based on Christian principles and dedicated to a quality education. The school, established in 2016, is located in Kericho County, Rift Valley Kenya. KIS’ long term vision is to offer both 8.4.4 and G.C.S.E curricula. The school, co-founded by two siblings and developed in part through their personal savings, currently has a population of 80 pupils from baby class to class 7, but expected to be extended to class 8 by 2018 once the remaining classrooms have been completed. The school enrollment is currently limited to pupils from the surrounding community who are mostly day scholars, but the school has had a high request from distant parents regarding the boarding school based pupils.
