“Saint Christine Nursery and Primary School, registered under number
DGCS/313/2011, was founded in March 2009 as a non-profit, community-based
organisation in Bundibugyo, in the western region of Uganda. The
project, which consists of a school, registered over 75 vulnerable children from the area. Our student population as now grown to 175 pupils, and we have 13 staff members.
The school’s main objectives include the establishment of a home for the
distressed, abandoned, and for HIV/AIDS orphans. We believe that children should grow up in a family
environment and in an atmosphere of happiness, love, guidance and
understanding, which is what we seek to provide through our school, targeting both physical and mental development.”
