“Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And more important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.” – Steve Jobs
What others say are just opinions, unless you decide to make them facts.
In one village, there lived the most beautiful princess in the whole world. When she grew old enough to get married, the king asked the people of his kingdom, as well as the animals, to register for a contest. He announced that the winner would marry the princess. Many people and animals entered the contest. The king asked all the contestants to try to climb the tallest tree in the village. All the contestants tried, including the monkeys, but they were not able to climb the tree. The last contestant was the frog. Everyone was laughing loudly, as the frog fell from the tree. But he did not stop because of the passion in his heart. There were a million words said to the frog, and none of them was encouraging. At the end of it all, the frog managed to climb to the top of the tree. All of the people were amazed, including the king. The only way that the frog managed to climb was by putting some cotton in his ears, so that he could not hear what the others said. The passion he had to marry the princess made him succeed. The easiest way to succeed is by turning a deaf ear to what other people say. You will still hear the words. However, you should transform every negative statement to be positive. It is not the mountain in front of us that makes us fail, but it is the grain of sand in our shoes.
If people talk a lot about you, you should know that you usually have something special in you.
That is what they envy most about you. Discover what your strength is, and forgive and forget about opinions. Make facts out of your own beliefs. You can become stressed trying to please people, but they will still talk about you. Remember to follow your heart and carry your brains around. You can do anything if you just believe in yourself. When you feel like you are in darkness, you should know that it is not the end; you have been planted. Germinate and shoot from the ground and stand firm. Others will enjoy your fruits. Stones are only thrown to the tree that has roots. If you receive a lot of negativity from others, then you can use it to prepare the sweetest fruits for them. They will actually praise your fruits. No star can shine without darkness. It is our moment, let’s prove them wrong. You cannot succeed without strongly believing in yourself, but you can succeed with others talking ill about you – if you ignore them. You are the holder of your own future; make it the best. My one piece of advice to young people out in the world is: with passion and belief in yourself, you can go beyond the sky.
