Welcome to the Blogging Prizes! It doesn’t matter if English is not your first language: we look at your ideas. The winner will get up to $900. There's a 2nd Prize of up to $600 and a 3rd Prize of up to $400.
To participate, authors had to write an essay of 500 to 1200 words on one of these topics:

- "The great thing about social media was how it gave a voice to voiceless people." - Jon Ronson
- "Too often we give children answers to remember rather than problems to solve." – Roger Lewin
- Discuss the photo.
It doesn't matter if English was not the author's first language: the Jury will look at the quality of their arguments and the originality of their ideas.
