Welcome to the 2019 edition of NUHA's annual writing competition!
Whether you are from Ghana or Georgia, Greece, Guam or Guyana, we want to hear what YOU have to say about 'education'. Absolutely anyone could participate in the Blogging Prizes, and three prizes are on offer, together with Matched Prizes for teachers and schools:
Young Writers Prize of up to US$ 250 for those born between 2005 and 2009
Youth Prize of up to US$ 900 for those born between 2001 and 2004
Adult Prize of up to US$ 2400 for those born before 2001.
It doesn't matter whether English is authors' first, second or even third language: articles will be judged first and foremost on the quality of argument and the originality of ideas. To participate, authors had to respond to one of the set topics at the links above within a set word-limit. Explore all the entries and see the winners of the 2019 edition below, and see here for the statement from our fantastic Jury. For more information, take a look at our Frequently Asked Questions.
